Anggota boy band Super Junior atau yang lebih dikenal dengan SUJU atau SJ yang jumlahnya 13 orang itu ditemukan oleh agen bakat serta label rekaman Korea, SM Entertainment dalam beberapa kali acara pencarian bakat yang diadakan di beberapa negara sejak pertengahan tahun 1990-an sampai tahun 2005 hingga akhirnya terkumpul 13 orang anggota.
Sejak diluncurkannya single pertama yang bertajuk TWINS (knock out) pada tahun 2005 dan langsung sukses di pasaran berhasil terjual 28.536 kopi hanya dalam waktu sebulan. Tidak mau menyia-nyiakan moment yang bagus ini, maka dengan berkolaborasi bersama TVXQ, Super Junior merilis "Show Me Your Love" dan ternyata penjualan "show me your love" jauh melampaui album mereka sebelumnya TWINS (Knock Out) karena berhasil terjula sebanyak 49.945 di bulan yang sama.
Prestasi Boy band super Junior ini memang luar biasa. Selain dilihat dari jumlah kopi album yang terjual juga bisa dilihat dari penghargaan yang mereka terima. Selama tahun 2006 saja mereka telah mengumpulkan 7 peghargaan dari sebuah program musik dan juga memperoleh gelar sebagai "Best New Group of 2006". Sebuah prestasi yang sangat luar biasa. Karena Super Junior meraih itu semua dalam waktu yang sangat relatif singkat sejak boy band ini didirikan.
Album Kedua Suju dengan tajuk Don't Don juga mendulang sukses di pasaran pada tahun 2007. Di tahun yang sama, Suju mengumpulkan banyak penghargaan saat itu. Mulai dari "Netizen Choice Award", "Mobile popularitas", "Best artist of the year", serta "Popularity Anycall TPL Award". Mulai tahun 2008, pihak label mulai mengembangkan boy band di bawah Suju untuk pasar dan penggemar di luar Korea. Walaupun langkah ini awalnya menuai banyak protes dan kritikan pedas dari para penggemar, namun terbukti bahwa keputusan pihak label ini telah menghasilkan sejarah baru di dunia musik. Suju dengan tur besar perdananya di tahun 2008 yang menyambangi beberapa negara sekaligus di wilayah asia semakin mendekatkan boy band ini dengan para penggemarnya. Kesuksesan Super Junior tidak hanya berhenti sampai disitu. Pada tahun 2009 mereka merilis album ketiga yang bertajuk "sorry sorry" dan lagi-lagi sukses di pasaran dengan terjual lebih dari 29.000 kopi hanya di hari pertama album ketiga ini diluncurkan. Semoga Suju semakin kreatif mengeluarkan single-single mereka di waktu yang akan datang sehingga bisa memuaskan para penggemarnya dari berbagai negara.
